1pot

Here Is the best pot for French Press; the Freihling stainless steel double wall insulated. Cleans beautifully, stays hot 5x longer than glass pots and has virtually no need for replacement parts.

2screen

This is the plunger screen for the pot. Very easy to clean as it usually requires only rinsing and unscrews for a quick scrub when needed. The screen is a very snug fit for brewing.

3cap

This is the "Cap". This forms when fresh grinds are steeped resulting in the gasses and ols being released from the beans.

Using a larger grind since the coffee is in direct contact with water, you will notice a line below the spout that indicates the max level to fill.

This is simply so when you press the plunger down, the coffee does not sqirt out of the spout.

4crema

After 3-5 minutes of brewing, you will notice the abundant crema underneath the cap.

The extraction has taken place and the oils have collected under he cap. If you push down the edge with a spoon, you will see them quickly rise.

The crema hold rich, intense, slightly sweet flavors that when kept in the coffee, create an unparalleled cup of coffee.

6cremacup

After plunging the pot, you just pour into your favorite cup and enjoy. Notice the heady layer of crema on top; a virtual impossibility with drip coffee machines.
